Supply Drive for Homeless Children

8% of the students at the Danforth Middle School in Syracuse are homeless. This is about 32 students per grade. We are seeking donations of basic supplies to help these homeless and/or impoverished students A longtime family friend started a movement called 'Rise Above Poverty' which directly provides them with these basic needs, and we will be passing all of the donations directly into their capable hands.

This is NOT a drive for toys, this is a drive for basic necessities, things which no person (especially a child) should ever go without.

Essential Needs:
(Girls & Boys: Ages 11-14)
*Socks *Underwear * Shirts *Sweatshirts *Sweatpants *Hoodies *Coats *Hats *Gloves *Toothbrushes *Hairbrushes

We will be collecting donations at the Sylvan Beach Fire Department from 11am to 1pm on Sunday, December 3rd.
