Support Amanda on the fight of her life

Hi, My name is Samantha Diliberto and I am fundraising for my dear friend and an anchor piece of my salon family, Amanda Shepard. Amanda and her family have been part of the very special Pearl River community for several decades. Most people may know Amanda

(as her late grandfather's) Jim Shepard's pride and joy.

At the young age of 27, Amanda has recently been diagnosed with

Stage 2: Triple Negative Beast Cancer.

Triple-negative breast cancer is a more aggressive type of tumor with a faster growth rate, higher risk of metastasis and recurrence risk.

She is in for the battle of her life over the next year or so. She has been told she needs Chemo first, along with immunotherapy then surgery, & then possible radiation. As you can imagine she is overwhelmed with fear, a million questions, & what ifs.

In order to have the ability to fight this fight, and not have to worry about her finances, she needs our help.

Her treatments will make her sick, and at times (most likely) unable to work & make money.

With this diagnosis comes the sad & scary, yet almost impossible thoughts of having children AFTER she beats this.

So that leads her to the first part of this scary long battle, that she has ahead of her.

She has been advised to freeze her eggs BEFORE treatment so she can hopefully have children one day.

The kicker, her insurance doesn't cover the fertility treatments & that needs to happen NOW! She doesn't have time on her side, so I am asking you to dig deep and count your blessings, as you donate to Amanda's frightening & tumultuous journey and lesson her worry to afford these treatments. The money raised will go directly to Amanda towards her substantial medical bills and to help cover her monthly bills so she can fight and not work if she is too sick to.
