Support Donna McNulty

My Aunt, Donna McNulty, needs your help. After 2 years of going back and forth from multiple doctors and tests, she was finally diagnosed with thyroid cancer and a substantial mass in her upper chest. Her surgery was scheduled for January 28th to open her neck and chest to remove the mass and her thyroid. During surgery, they found a small percentage of the mass wrapped around her carotid artery. They removed all they could but Donna would still need further treatment. 3 weeks later, she received a sustantial amount of radiactive iodine in order to kill any remaining cancer cells. This treatment required her to be in isolation for 5 days and made her extremely weak. After the treatment, Donna experienced many side effects that kept her from returning to work. At this point, Donna has used all of her paid time off and vacation pay, as she expected to be back to work right away. Donna is working hard to regain her strength but it will take some time.
