Support Dylan Williams and family
Donation protected
Hello everyone,
I had the great joy to visit with Kelly, her mom Nancy and Dylan today. Dylan is doing really well, considering all he has been through. What a fine young man he is.
As Kelly said on the Facebook page, it is her request that any further donations be sent to the Humboldt Broncos as she feels comfortable that Dylan's needs have been met by the fundraising we have done for him. To say the family is grateful would be a huge understatement. To say I am proud of my community, again, is a big understatement. Thank you to all who helped, be it financially, emotionally, through sharing, donations of goods or services or physical help with the meat draw, silent auction and 50/50 draw.
We will continue to update you with Dylan's progress in the days and weeks to come.
Thank you
Linda Stolz

This fund is to provide financial support for Dylan Williams and his family during Dylan's recovery.
See the story of what happened here, and then read the updates to see how things are currently.
Dylan, age 17, was seriously injured in a rollover accident in Nanoose Bay on Mar 26. He was airlifted to Victoria and needed to be put on life support in the ICU. He is now breathing on his own. He has a head injury, a broken arm, a broken rib and broken clavicle (which needs surgery, but that has to wait for a while). His prognosis is uncertain at this time, but we are all hoping for a full recovery.
The path ahead is unknown, but is very likely to be long and difficult. What is certain is that this family needs our help. As a community, we are called to get behind this great family and support them as best we can.
At this time his mom Kelly Kapusta and other family members will be missing work. There are many out of pocket expenses when a person is hospitalized far from home. They will need funds for gas, parking, food, etc , all above and beyond the normal expenses at home.
The fees deducted from your donation are 30 cents per donation plus a 2.9% processing fee. All the major funding sites have the same fees.
There is a place to give a "tip" to Go Fund Me to support this platform. That "tip" does not go toward the fund for the family. It is entirely optional if you want to give that tip or not. You can change the drop down to "other" and then enter $0.00 if you wish on that line
I will update on the Facebook page as Kelly provides information on how Dylan is doing.
Thanks everyone. Every dollar counts, and it is appreciated.
