Support Women Farmers in Conflict Zones – Northern Uganda
Tax deductible
Fundraising Goal: $20,000
In Northern Uganda, women smallholder farmers are the backbone of agriculture, yet they face overwhelming challenges. These include gender-based violence, lack of access to land and credit, and entrenched inequalities. Many are survivors of conflict, displaced, or living in precarious conditions in refugee-hosting communities. Without intervention, these women remain trapped in cycles of poverty and violence, unable to achieve economic independence or safety.
Our Mission:
ERONet is dedicated to breaking these cycles by supporting women farmers with:
- Training on sustainable farming practices.
- Resources like seeds and tools to enhance productivity.
- Advocacy and education to combat gender-based violence.
- Economic empowerment programs to foster independence.
With your help, we can transform the lives of hundreds of women and their families, creating resilient communities in the wake of conflict.
How Your Contribution Helps:
Every dollar raised will be used to:
- Provide training on climate-smart agriculture and business skills.
- Distribute resources like seeds, tools, and fertilizers.
- Facilitate community advocacy workshops on gender equality.
- Offer psychosocial support to survivors of gender-based violence.
Your support will directly impact over 500 women farmers, improving their livelihoods and ensuring safer communities.
Why Now?
This #16DaysOfActivism is a critical moment to take action. Gender-based violence and inequality in conflict zones can no longer be ignored. With your help, we can make a lasting difference.
