For those that don't know the story. Jordan is my little sister and I was her guardian since she was 16. On May 12th she was walking home from her boyfriends at night and was crossing the street at a marked crosswalk and was struck by a vehicle. The vehicle never stopped and she was left there unconscious. She wasn't found until around 12:30am by a passing firetruck coming back to the station. She was admitted to hospital with life threatening injuries after 1:00am. She had to be transferred to the University Hospital because of the extent of her injuries. She had multiple contussions on her brain which caused it to swell and bleed and also had a fractured skull. She has multiple fractures on her left leg and a torn ACL and MCL on her right leg. She has a fracture on one of her vertebrae's. The cops are investigating but have no strong leads. She was in a coma until Tuesday May 16th before she woke up and then had to be sedated because her heart rate was rising. She has been in the hospital ever since and has had to get a tracheostomy because of swollen airways and also now has pneumonia.

We are looking for support for help with our family to be with her everyday in the hospital. She will also need home care for several months if not longer and needs physiotherapy. This has been a very terrible time for our family and we don't even know the full financial hardship this will cause us over the next few months and beyond. I am putting together this GoFundMe with a realistic goal but am not sure the full extent of need yet. Any help would be greatly appreciated, it can even be so small as to just share this go fund me page with your friends to let them know. We will be updating as her condition changes.
