Support for Nick Kauls
Donation protected
We need your love, prayers and support.
Our friend, Nick, was the victim of a senseless and violent crime. On Sunday, June 24 he was shot in the head as he ran for his life during an apparent robbery.
Nick was only 17 years old and was a student at San Joaquin Memorial High School. He was getting ready to play on the varsity soccer team for his school.
After a valiant fight on his part and the medical team at Community Regional Medical Center, Nick has passed.
We are asking you to show your love for Nick and his mom with your continued prayers and, if you can, by donating to help with the medical bills, funeral and other expenses. Lisa has been at his side continuously and remains unable to work. Lisa's dear friend of 40 yers, Laura Mather, has set up a bank account at Educational Employees Credit Union where funds from this site will be transferred. You may also make a deposit directly into the EECU account if you wish.
The funds remaining after paying for expenses related to the tragedy will be used to establish a scholarship at San Joaquin Memorial High School in Nick's name.
Everybody who knew Nick loved him. He had a kind soul and was a true friend. His friends and family are heartbroken.
"He's just a fantastic kid. He's every coach's dream," said Randy Prescott, Varsity Soccer Head Coach at San Joaquin Memorial High School. "He comes out every day. He works hard, willing to do whatever it takes."
We hope you will give what you can.
Thank you.
