In December of 2017, I fell down a flight of stairs in my home on my back and broke my distal fibula but what I didn't know at the time was that because of my genetic condition (Ehlers Danlos Syndrome) I would create or worsen a cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) leak. This is a serious debilitating medical condition.
My entire year has been spent trying to get back to walking but with a CSF leak all you want to do is lay down. Working has become impossible and I'm in a desperate situation.
As a result of everything going on since I’ve gotten so sick I’ve fallen behind on bills and it’s an emergency situation for me since my cell phone could get shut off and it’s my only means of communication. We have no home phone, my husband has only has his work cell phone.
Any amount is useful to me at this point, even five dollars because I literally need to be able give my cell phone company a promise to pay by the 15th of this month. And my health insurance is $569 a month.
If I reached this goal I would be able to pay this month's health insurance and that would give my husband great relief. Not to mention it would give me relief too. I've been so stressed and depressed at the same time and I'm sure this is not good with how sick I am.
