明道國小位於臺北市文山區，溜冰隊成立已19年，提供學生培
運動專長機會，溜冰隊孩子成員裡除台灣籍孩子以外，多數來自不同國籍背景的移工家庭（越南、緬甸、印尼、泰國、菲律賓等）。
目前溜冰隊成員約50人
下，年紀從幼兒園大班至高中，弱勢生比例達六成多。
在同學不斷努力練習之下，溜冰隊成績亮眼，在106學年度全國花式溜冰錦標賽拿下國小團體花式季軍及國小隊形花式亞軍，106台北市教育盃花式溜冰錦標賽國小團體花式亞軍；國高中學生則連續三年（2016、2017、2018）拿下花式溜冰世界錦標賽小型團體花式中華代表隊。
MingDao Skating Team is an artistic roller skating team in Taiwan. It is consisted of 12 children age ranging from 12 to 16 years old. 8 of them are from under privileged families. Due to this reason, every time the team needs to participate in international competitions, they have to rely on donations and fundraising events for their traveling expenses. This time, after qualifying in the national tryouts in Taiwan, 12 kids, coach, and chaperons need to travel from Taiwan to France to participate in the Artistic Skating World Championships (http://www.aswc2018.org/) in October.
The donation will be going to towards to traveling expenses including food, meals, transportation (plane tickets and car rentals), and other miscellaneous expenses. Even though the competition is in October, we need to raise sufficient funds by the end of August in order to have sufficient time to make traveling arrangements. If there is insufficient fund, the MingDao Skating Team will not be able to participate in this most renowned skating event in the world.
The team has worked very hard for this. They practice under the 36 degree Celsius scorching sun and 8 degree Celsius cold winter (all outdoors) just so they can fulfill their dream. Won't you lend a hand?

緣起：明道溜冰隊經過9個月的苦練，終於獲選2018法國世界花式溜冰代表隊。明道溜冰隊12位代表選手有8位弱勢學生，請捐助他們順利前往巴黎實現成為台灣之光的夢想。選手們不畏8度低溫寒流或高溫36度酷暑，每週練習20多小時，最終取得台灣代表隊的世界盃的參賽資格，因為經費不足，需要以募款方式來籌旅費 (目前每孩子還缺至少三萬台幣)，請大家多多幫忙，幫助選手們順利從台灣到法國比賽。
