Policeman Simon Schembri, a father of three children, was grievously injured when he was run over by a teenager in Luqa on Tuesday 15th May. Due to this brutal attack, it's been reported he has suffered a collapsed lung, a broken pelvis, broken ribs, fractures across his body and also had to have his right arm amputated from the elbow down.
Although his condition has taken a turn for the better and is now able to communicate with his loved ones, he now awakes to face a new reality with plenty of challenges ahead. Let's show him that society appreciates all the work he has done for our country and we are there supporting him on his journey to recovery.
