Support Rachel's Artist Residency in Los Angeles

Howdy! My name is Rachel Britton. I am a queer multidisciplinary artist who uses photography and experimental film to glorify feminine hedonism.

I have exhibited my art across the United States in San Francisco, California and Chicago, Illinois as well as internationally in Amsterdam, Netherlands; both Toronto, Ontario and Vancouver, BC, Canada; Berlin, Germany; and Paris, France among others.

I am excited to announce my participation in the artist residency at the Tom of Finland Foundation located in Los Angeles, California from February 1 - April 30, 2025. During my residency I will research feminist performance art, edit current projects, connect with galleries, and photograph artists living in Los Angeles among other things. My residency concludes with an art exhibition encapsulating my research conducted and artwork created during my time at the Tom of Finland Foundation.

While I have applied for grants, there are very few options for me at this time. I am seeking your help to fund this residency. MyGoFundMe is open to accept patronage for the cost of my roundtrip flight, an upgraded camera for better quality filming and lens, and the cost of the residency plus living expenses in L.A.
