Join us in supporting the farmers of South Africa!
We will be entering the Odin's October Lunacy Run this year to help raise some money in support of South African farmers.
The Lunacy Race is a 10k trek across undulating terrain with hills, woodland, water, ropes, climbs, on all natural obstacles.
About the charity:
TAU SA (Transvaal Agricultural Union) is the oldest agricultural union in South Africa and has been in existence since 1897.
Their mission of the union is to ensure a productive and safe existence for its members on the land they own. Currently this is not possible due to a variety of actions and threats against commercial farmers.
The country is on its economic knees and those in charge seem to be unaware of the destruction they have wrought and are still wreaking, or else they couldn’t care less.
TAU SA`s president, Mr. Louis Meintjes, has been speaking out against proposed legislation for years, calling it “constructive deprivation of white landowners, if not plain legalised land grabbing.”
We want to support TAU with their efforts in lobbying the South African government, proposing policy and helping farmers in need.
