Steve Wingard Funeral and Memorial Fund
Donation protected
Steven Wingard unexpectedly passed away on June 21, 2019 in a diving accident while working at Batten Kill hydro power plant. He was 25 years old. He was a son, a brother, an uncle, a nephew, a cousin, a friend to many. He was so unconditionally loved by everyone who had the privilege to know him. You know you could count on the fact that everyone would be laughing non-stop if he was in the room. Steve's parents are genuinely the most kindhearted and selfless people I have ever met. They are the rock that holds our family together....Despite everything life throws at them they keep going, they stay positive, and they keep their hearts open. They do just about anything to help a friend, neighbor, or student in need, so I would really like to show them the same love and support in return. I would like to help ease some of the stresses of funeral costs and anything else they might need during this incredibly traumatic and painful time. Regardless of whether you are able to donate, please share a favorite memory you have of Steven. Thank you for taking the time to read this. ❤ Update: It's been a few weeks since we lost Steven...but the pain is as great as though it just happened. My Aunt and Uncle are struggling along with the rest of our family and friends. I know I said I would close the fundraiser but I found it impossible to do so everytime I tried. I enjoy going through his pictures everyday. I feel so deeply for everyone who is in pain right now that maybe this page could be a sort of online memorial that we could visit if ever we are having a rough day, if ever you want to share a memory. We also could brainstorm some other memorial ideas...this page could be whatever you would like it to be. I invite you to open up here if ever you need to. One thing I know about our community is that we care. We all loved Steve so much...
Please continue to share/donate if you can. Thank you
