Why should YOU support MSA West?
MSA West aspires to develop Muslim student leaders across the West Coast into Islamically literate, God-conscious, and socially conscious servant-leaders who exhibit Prophetic character, unwavering principles, effective communication, creative resourcefulness, and are empowered to be catalysts for change in their MSAs and surrounding communities. MSA West envisions working with affiliated MSAs to build resource centers near their campuses with program-support staff to help MSA members in a holistic manner through spiritual, academic, and social support.
MSA West strives to establish Islam as the forefront of all movements by speaking the truth, increasing awareness, dissolving stereotypes,resisting oppression, and strengthening the bond between Muslims worldwide—starting with our own campuses.
Core Goals:
1. Provide resources to MSAs in order to foster their growth and development.
2. Facilitate collaboration between MSAs by establishing communication lines and networks, as well as by coordinating collective events.
3. Create a powerful and effective voice allowing MSAs to build impacts on issues affecting the Muslim community.
How will MSA West benefit from these funds?
MSA West aims to serve the needs of Muslim-American youth. All donations will help develop the future of Muslim students and better the Muslim-American Ummah through events such as statewide annual conferences, spiritual retreats, leadership trainings, and various social justice projects.
