Support Emily Oswald Beat Leukemia

"People come into our lives for a reason, a season, or a lifetime". Emily Oswald has been all three of those for me, she changed the course of my life from the day that I met her. Emily is a connector, if you look across the country we are all positively connected to each other in some way through Emily, and I am sure she has touched your lives in similar ways to how she has touched mine.

A week ago Emily was diagnosed with Acute Leukemia. She called me, without tears, told me the plan...to beat it. She has an inner strength that we all aspire to, but most will be fortunate enough to never rely on it. She is now drawing on that inner strength to focus on beating this fight and doing so with dignity and grace.

Emily is one of the most generous, selfless, and thoughtful people that I have ever known. She is always the person sending a thoughtful text, gift, calling to check in on you, a funny picture...just to let you know she is thinking of you. She has supported all of us throughout our life events, celebrating us. Now it is our turn to rally around her and show her the same love and support she has shown us. She is so blessed and thankful to work for an organization that will truly minimize the burden of this illness, and friends and family that will help support emotionally but this will not be easy and will be a financial stress. Our financial support with allow her to stay focused on what is most important; being the warrior that she is and winning this battle!
