For Matt and His Family

Matthew Salesses is a cherished writer, teacher, and  friend in the Asian American and larger literary community. Earlier this year, Matt Salesses's wife  Cathreen was unexpectedly diagnosed with Stage 4 stomach cancer, and for the past year, has been battling cancer through long term hospitalization. Friends from the Asian American writing community are organizing to fundraise for Matthew and his family during their current stay in Korea, as he cares for his wife, young daughter, and newborn son. For this special campaign, writers, poets, and editors have generously donated their signed books, and created special items to support Matt and his family. The funds will go to  his family medical expenses, and is a loving gesture of our solidarity and care during this time. Your vital contribution will support Matt's family and at the same time you will receive inspired books and gifts by formative Asian American writers creating today and into the future.  Consider these special gifts for your beloved as a special holiday gift, or New Year's  for a literary loving friend (or yourself!) The fundraiser will continue until we sell out, or through the second week of Jan (Jan 12th).
