Support the Family of Kevin Flores

Donation protected
On the evening of January 26th, 13 year old Kevin Flores was riding his bike not far from his school when he was hit and killed by an unlicensed truck driver.

Kevin was a remarkable young man with a shy smile and a subtle sense of humor who never failed to make his friends, teachers, and loved ones laugh. Everyone who met Kevin was charmed by his warmth and easy going nature, and he will be deeply missed by all who were lucky enough to know him.

Kevin was in the process of realizing his dream of launching his own clothing brand - designing artwork for t-shirts and buttons. Kevin was a natural and talented artist, and was already working on his portfolio for his future application to selective arts high schools. This was the next step towards his goal of becoming an architect.

The goal of this campaign is to raise money to support Kevin's family with funeral and personal expenses in this time of mourning. Additionally, Kevin's mother is five months pregnant. Our goal is that no financial needs should burden Kevin's family as they cope with this tragic loss and prepare for the arrival of a new child.

This campaign is being overseen by the leadership of Kevin's school - Launch EL Charter School - and all funds will be given directly to Kevin's family.

We hope to reach our goal in the next week (by February 3rd) to immediately be able to provide this support to the family as they manage funeral and related expenses.
