Surgery for an abandoned dog.

I found this poor girl running around West Philly terrified and alone.  She has tissue bulging out of her vaginal area (either her uterus or vaginal tissue) and has some bleeding and weeping occurring.  No owner in sight, no one on the street had ever seen her, so I took her to Penn Vet after being told PAWS would not take her.  Penn Vet would not examine and was going to send her straight to Animal Care and Control where I knew this little pit bull would not have a hope.  With help from friends and aquaintances, I was able to secure an appointment for 5:30 today for her at Philadelphia Animal Hospital where they will likely perform surgery tomorrow,  I've been told to expect it to cost $800 plus follow ups, so I set this at $1000.  Help if you can, and if you or someone you know can provide foster help, or even better, a forever home, let me know!   She is very small brindle coat with a tiny white stripe on her nose. Around 25 pounds,  is easy to handle and carry, is very obedient and seems to love other dogs (lots of tail wagging) and is not startled by or interested in my cats.
