Hola amigos! Susana sufrió un acv (accidente cerebro vascular) hace unos meses atrás. Afortunadamente se está recuperando excepto por algunas dificultades para hablar y caminar. El cuidado médico que provee PAMI, el sistema público de servicios sociales, deja mucho que desear. Entre otras cosas, la amenazaron con quitarle la cobertura y todavía no le han enviado ni un especialista de rehabilitación física ni un fonoaudiólogo para comenzar la terapia del habla que tanto necesita. Apelamos a todos los que queremos a Susana para apoyarla en este momento de gran necesidad. Ella siempre nos ayudó de una forma u otra. Ahora nos toca a nosotros devolverle el favor. Hello friends! Susana suffered a stroke a few months ago. Fortunately, she is recovering except for some difficulties in speaking and walking. The medical care provided by PAMI, Argentina’s publichealth insurance system,is not really adequate. Among other things, they threatened to cancel her coverage.
