Help us help our MOM

My Mom had been living alone in her condo since my Dad passed away 5 years ago. With our help she had always been able to manage alone. She had fallen a few times but never seriously and had always managed to stay strong enough to stay in her home. Then a year ago late at night I received a call that she didn't feel well. I told her to call 911 and I'd be right over. Well that was the last time she was in her home. Since then she was placed in a nursing/rehab facility. At 87 her health is beginning to fail, she is very frail and her memory is beginning to leave her.
Medicare paid for the first 100 days of her stay but since then it has been myself and my sister who had to foot the bills. It has become very difficult for us to continue paying. If we cannot pay, they will try to take her condo. We have hired an attorney to attempt to get her on Medicaid (another expense).
We are hopeful that this can happen in another month or so.  She very much likes living where she is and doesn't realize that this will be her final residence. Please help us to allow her to stay at this facility.
Due to our pride we have resisted asking for help. But it has come to the point where we are asking you to help in any way you can. Even the smallest of donations will help.
