Pastor Mark's Mission to Swaziland

Hi , my name is Mark Driskill. Together with my wife and four children I have served in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky for almost 30 years. My family is committed to bringing the Gospel ministry to underserved areas in the United States and around the world. We have pastored three churches, and a Youth Camp, taught school, and ministered to the needy since 1991.
 
In 2010 The Lord spoke to me in a powerful way about expanding the ministry to other nations. Since then I have committed to ministering overseas every two years. It's been a joy to travel to Africa and India and partner together with the vibrant churches there.

Typically I go with a team of other ministers to lead a pastors conference and to participate in evangelistic outreach, in partnership with local missionaries and pastors there. We train and encourage pastors who are on the frontlines of the Gospel movement and are quite often under persecution. We minister to the sick and the oppressed through healing and deliverance ministry. It is so exciting to see God's people set free and new believers come into the kingdom. We don't go in as experts from America, but as partners with the national churches there.  We bring our ministry experience and love for Christ as gifts to share with our fellow laborers, who often bless us more than we bless them. 

This year's mission will be to Swaziland, a small country in South Africa. These wonderful people have a beautiful country, and a growing church. Sadly, they have been ravaged by the AIDS epidemic (Among the highest in the world). But still the Gospel is going forward and blessing that nation in powerful ways. 

My purpose in ministry and life is to "Preach, Teach, and Heal in Jesus name" (From Matthew 4:23) Our team is going to minister the Gospel in word and deed among these amazing people from July 21-August 5, 2016

I'm asking you to join my team in the following ways:
1. Pray for us. I don't say this lightly. In the last six years I have seen, first hand, how the Lord uses strong prayer support to protect and provide four our teams when we go. We need serious minded folk who will commit to intercede from now until even a week or so after we return.
2. Donate financially. I have seen God raise up donors who have enabled me to go on these missions in fantastic ways. My wife and I serve three ministries here in the mountains. These organizations together are able to support us for the work we do here at home. But that is all they can do. Any ministry overseas depends on the generous support of people like you. I believe God will prompt those whom He wants to give support. I'm simply asking if you sense God's leading to help out that you do so. 

The total amount I am seeking to raise is $4,120.00 This will cover plane tickets, travel insurance, food, housing and transportation while on the field, as well as any vaccinations or other preparatory costs.  The deadline for raising the entire amount is July 6th.
