Puppy in house fire needs your help

Donation protected
A 9-month-old puppy was rescued when she was rushed to Lauderdale Veterinary Specialists by Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue after being found fighting for life in a house fire.

Sweet Pea, a nine month old mixed breed puppy, is currently in the critical care unit at LVS. She has been treated for smoke inhilation,  2nd degree burns to approximately 20-30 percent of her body and is fighting to stay alive.

Sweet Pea lost two of her best dog friends to the fire, as two other dogs died due to smoke inhilation. Doctors currently say her prognosis is serious at this time and her condition will vary day-to-day.

Sweet Pea has received bandages, pain medication, oxygen and IV fluids from the doctors. She will also need to undergo daily wound management. Her and her owner, Jason Hall, need your help as the costs are rising daily.

Whatever you are able to donate, please find it in your heart to help Sweet Pea and her owner in the recovery process. Please share and let people know they can try to help save the life of Sweet Pea with any size of donation. All donations will go to Lauderdale Veterinary Specialists who are covering the costs daily.

Sweet Pea is all Mr. Hall has left and all donations can help.

Any funds raised over the costs needed to assist in the recovery of Sweet Pea will be put into the Pet's Tree Of Hope to help save the lives of future cases like hers.

Thank you for your thoughts, prayers and donations.
