Help me get a computer

Hi, my name is Alvis and I want to get a new computer!

I currently own a Lenovo T440 Thinkpad which is leased to me by my high school. However, I am in year 12, and at the end of this year the lease will expire and the computer will be requisitioned. After I finish High School, I plan to go to university, however I will be computerless. My parents can't afford to get me anything as expensive as a computer, and I don't have any money myself. My father is an IT technician, so if I can get my hands on some semi-decent computer parts he can build a PC for me.

I don't really expect anyone to donate to this, I set the goal pretty high just in case, but really I could get a usable computer for $700-1200. Any donations would be so, so appreciated - as in, we will be best friends for LIFE appreciated. This counts for shares too - even if you can't donate, if you could share this campaign with someone it would make a huge difference.
