Family Expenses after Car Accident

On September 5th my cousin and his wife were involved in a terrible car accident. The driver in the other vehicle was speeding and ran a red light, as you can see in the photo above, their vehicle flipped. As a result of this awful accident, my cousin's wife is being hospitalized and is currently in the ICU. She has undergone multiple surgeries on her arm and this is just the beginning. The doctors say she will need several more surgeries and skin grafts. Aside from her arm injury she also has broken ribs, a collapsed lung, leg injuries, and a minor head injury. Though the two of them are in good spirits, they are both in pain.
They have three children in which she worked full time to support. Due to her medical condition, she is unable to work and will be out of work for an extended amount of time. My cousin lost his wallet at the scene of the accident and would prefer to be with his wife rather than having to work.
