Top Surgery funds!

Hi, my name is Talisman and I am a disabled transgender man living in a state that makes it incredibly difficult to go through any gender affirming services. I have been incredibly fortunate in finding a surgeon that is willing to work with me and my insurance, and while that insurance covers a majority of the operation, I still have to pay off my entire deductible and OR fees. That totals out to about $2,250. Now, I do have about $1,300 set aside, but saving money from my paycheck is very very difficult with the bills I have compared to my wages. I will continue preserving what I can before the surgery, but the current expected surgery date is October 27th, 2022. I still need the approximate $950 to cover those fees, and on top of that I am required to rent out a hotel room for the night before and of the surgery date. I don't plan on extravagance by any means, so I am expecting to pay maybe at most $200, as it is in the heart of a rather large city.

Overall, I am hoping to raise about $1,150 to cover the expenses of this surgery, which will leave me with a lifelong happiness and contentment. I have been on testosterone for 6 years and contented with most changes, but the dysphoria around my chest and my inability to wear any compressive garments due to severe asthma has made it very difficult to wholly feel like my body is my own. This will help me take a massive step closer to that completion of my body aligning with my heart and soul, and would highly improve my quality of life and perception of self.
