Let's replace TC's stolen van & tools!
On the night of July 20th, 2015, TC's van was stolen from outside his house in Oakland. The van was his entire sewer lateral testing business: all of his tools, his office & his transportation. Tim immediately reported the theft to the police. For the next few weeks, he knows the thieves were driving around because he got their notices for failing to pay Bay Bridge tolls! The van was just found by the police: stripped & completely dead.
TC, Tim Collie, or Tango Charlie -- as he's known to the organizers of the Burning Man arts festival -- is one of the longest serving volunteers of the Black Rock Rangers . He's loved spending 15 years patrolling & operating as "Khaki," the central radio dispatcher, who coordinates Ranger activities. He's given tremendous time and energy to promote safety at the Burning Man festival. Now we're reaching out for help from the community he loves and has given so much to. Will you help?
The money you donate will replace TC's stolen van & equipment. It will also cover the first payment for insurance, to make sure that if anything like this happens again, he can get back on his feet.
