Late at night, on May 6th, Taysean fell and suffered a traumatic brain injury. His friend immediately called 911 and he was rushed to the hospital, where he received immediate attention. Due to the swelling in his brain, Taysean had a small tube implanted to release some of the fluid build-up. He remains in a medically induced coma in order to minimize swelling and allow for his brain to reduce activity and focus on healing. The doctors plan on keeping Taysean in this state for a few more days to maximize the healing process. His recovery plan may change daily based on how the healing is progressing. He is in great care, surrounded by dozens of family and friends. Taysean is a senior at Williams College, originally from Baltimore, MD. Taysean brings joy and laughter to everyone he encounters. He is one of a kind, and we are all rooting for his swift recovery.
