UPDATE:
Hello Everyone,
We were hopeful that Amber's cancer was in remission, but it wasn't. The doctors didn't get all of her cancer, which was outside of her lymph nodes. They have started doing another six cycles of chemo. The doctors didn't want to wait any longer, because they were afraid that it would spread in six months. Amber is strong, but she still needs our support. Amber started a new teaching job, but her insurance hasn't kicked in yet. We are forever grateful for your support and anything you can give will be greatly appreciated. Please, continue to pray for, and if possible, support Amber so that she can beat the cancer so she can continue pursuing her dream to teach.
Thank you so much!

OUR WONDERFUL TEACHER AMBER DAWN RAMSEY CARROLL
GO AMBER!!
For those who may not know her directly, Amber Dawn Ramsey Carroll has had a tough journey, health-wise. When she was 16 years old, she had kidney failure. At 18, she had a kidney transplant. Since then, Amber has had numerous brief hospital stays with illnesses that would be minor to most people. Through it all, Amber never gave up on her dream of teaching. With prayer and God’s mercy, those dreams were fulfilled when she accepted a teaching position at Seabourn Elementary School in Mesquite, Texas. Amber taught at Seabourn from 2007-2017. Most recently, Amber taught at Joseph J. Rhoads Learning Center in Dallas, Texas from 2017 until August 2018. Teaching the next generation of students was truly a blessing for Amber and she enjoyed every minute of it. She loved her students and they loved her. Unfortunately, Amber’s walk in her life’s journey has been sadly interrupted as she has now been diagnosed with stage 3 Squamous Cell Carcinoma cancer, recently. As an organ transplant recipient, Amber is extremely vulnerable because her health is already compromised. Getting the timely treatments and medication is crucial in helping her beat this cancer. Since this diagnosis, Amber has not been able to work so she needs all the extra help we can give her. By donating to Amber, the money raised will go to cover the cost of medication, treatment, transportation to and from the hospital, caregiver, and some living expenses. We are grateful for your consideration in giving to this cause. Please pray for Amber to beat this cancer so she can continue to pursue her love of teaching. Thank you in advance for your support.
