Tech training for area youth

In the winter of 2015,  several involved parents met to discuss the educational opportunities in technology for the local youth. After assessing nearby urban and rural areas, it was clear that a large gap existed in both the educational and job opportunities within technology in our community. As a result, these parents combined their time, funds and complementary expertise in Business, Education and Software Engineering to form TechRush, with the express interest in bridging this gap. In October 2015 TechRush received IRS certification as a 501(c)(3) California Corporation, EIN 47-3692315.

TechRush's purpose is twofold. The first is to provide hands on training of the readily available technology of the Internet via a multi-week boot camp training environment. The second is to match student teams with local businesses to put their newfound skills to practical use.

We have received tremendous support in time and resources from our community to bring this program to life.  Your donation towards our goal will ensure that we have the needed computers, software and materials to provide this free training to 15 local students. Class starts April 3rd. We need your help now.
