On the early morning of Thanksgiving 2018 Damario Johnson was shot from behind while working security at Cafe Arizona in Federal Way, WA . Damario was trying to diffuse an altercation and was shot in the process. He has a spinal cord injury that has hindered his ability to walk. THE DAMAGE COULD BE PERMANENT!
The club has yet to reach out to our family and has already planned another event the same week as this tragedy. The suspect has yet to be found and Damario’s parents and siblings are fighting hard to stay strong and positive throughout these unfortunate circumstances for Damario’s sake. Sue Ellen (Damario’s mother) can no longer work until everything is situated on his behalf, with her now having to be his primary caregiver until Damario makes it through this trying recovery period.
We have been asked what friends and family can do to be of help. This entire ordeal will put Damario and his loving mother in a financial bind. If you are able to do so, please make a donation of any amount, also share this and push it around the world, even if you can’t donate! Please continue to keep the Johnson family in your thoughts and prayers. We would like to thank all that have reached out and showered our family with love and support it really means a lot during this trying time.
For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.”
