WHO WE ARE
We are the American Legion Albert E. Schwab Post 555 family: Legionnaires, Auxiliary, Sons, and American Legion Riders located in Midway City, CA.
WHAT WE ARE RAISING MONEY FOR
The American Post 555 is working with the team at the Long Beach VA Transition Program. This group focuses on veterans that have just come home from deployment, and the families in need.
We are raising as much money as we can from Nov.1 through Nov. 14th. We will use this money to purchase grocery store gift cards for Thanksgiving dinners for Veteran families of four: a turkey, all the fixings, and dessert.
Our goal for this fundraiser is to make Thanksgiving happen for 20 families at $75 each.
