The Best Man and family I know - VB

My best friend lost his wife unexpectedly last night in her sleep. These were two of the most amazingly kind and wonderful people I have ever known, and there is now a single father with 5 children left to raise .  Heidi was one of the most amazing giving and caring moms, and a Multiple National Championship level coach, with Jim as the assistant.  They have been mentors and facilitators for 35 years and have given so much of themselves to so many.  Always there with a smile, a genuine hug, and always honest and true to themselves and others.  Their children are 7-18 years - three older sons and two younger girls.  Devoted , hard working, and  like many of us in the coaching profession  - never able to really get away from the expenses of the day.  I would hope we can help this family of givers financially through the next few weeks and months, so they can get on with healing the loss without financial concerns for the immediate future .  I am hopeful all of us who have benefitted from the relationship with a coach as mentor, or who have experienced the joy of having honest hard working loving people in their life can help this family. Jim was best man at my wedding - and I stood for theirs, and I will make sure he sees all the contributions, thank you in advance!
