Donation protected
The Freedom Riders are honored to represent the State of Colorado in the 58th Inauguaral Parade in Washingon DC on January 20, 2017. This will be the third time the group has made the trip to participate in the event.
The Freedom Riders will be taking 6 horses and riders, two trailers along with banner carriers and horse safety walkers to take a trip down Pennsylvania Avenue to celebrate the new President taking office.
Funds raised will be used for travel expenses for both riders and horses to make the 2600 mile round trip to Washington DC. Hotels, fuel and expenses are estimated to be at $11,000.00.
This group of women are proud of the country they live in, and have come up with a unique way to display their affection with a patriotic western presentation of our colors. They carry large 6’ x 8’ American flags horseback with beautiful red, white, and blue attire from atop the flag to the hoof of their horses. Our group attends many local and national events remembering and honoring the men and women of our military, members of our Government, Police and Fireman and all others that work daily to protect our country.
