The Journey of Delilah Arredondo.....

As many may already know Delilah has been in the hospital for about 2 months currently battling Lymphoma on top of her other medical issue (see story below). I know they are not ones to ask for help.
Alex (Javier)and Lisette(Liz) would try to find a way to make things work. They are very private about their family. We are hoping to raise funds to help out Alex(Javier) and Lisette(Liz) with medical expenses and alleviate financial stress brought on by this situation.

Due to this Delilah's situation Lisette has stopped working to be there with Delilah 24 hours a day. She has exhausted all her vacation and PTO time at work. Alex is working but also has exhausted all his vacation and PTO time as well. He has been there for all the reoccurring procedures and meetings with the doctors'. Sadly they have had minimal time with there 7 month old son Elijah.

The family would like to thank you in advance for all your prayers and help during this difficult time.

Delilah's story...
At her 6 month check up (8/2013)the doctor had found  a large mass on her lungs and neck. (9/2013)They met with the oncologist once the results came in and surgery was scheduled the same day to remove the masses. She was diagnosed with (LCH)Langerhans cell histiocytosis. Chemo was started right away. (12/2013) She recieved alot of blood transfusion and chemo was changed for a 2nd time after 2 months due to no progress or change. (1/2014) She was transferred to Choc hospital and was being treated with 3 different kinds of chemo. (5/2014) Delilah was sick once again and test showed that her LCH came back stronger and chemo was changed once again. Due to there not being any other chemo treatment to help her she then became a Clinical Trial Patient for a little over 2 years. Delilah was having EKO, EKG, MRI and CT scan every 2 months to make sure she was doing ok. (6/2016-7/2016) Delilah once again sick with RSV, Rhino, Thrush, and Flu and her doctor wanted her body to try to fight if off with medicine but that wasn"t helping her. (10/2016) Delilah can't catch a break. She was sick again with fever and loss of appetite has been admitted into Choc again, this time she was diagnosed with pheumonia. She is currently being treated by her primary care doctor, infectious disease, Pulmonary, E.N.T, doctors & GI department are involved. Alex & Lisette had a meeting with all the doctors and decided to test her for Lymphoma. Results came back and now has be diagnosed with B cell Lymphoma on top of everything else she has been going thru. It has spread into her lungs & liver. Chemo was started immediatley to avoid it to spread to her brain. Delilah is a fighter but her body is unable to fight off everything that is going on. Doctor's are doing everything they can to help her get better.

We love you all and will continue to support you thru this difficult journey with Delilah. Love from your family & friends!!!
