Nyla and Lawrence are a married couple, but she lives in Wales (UK) and he lives in Florida (USA). Each has two children from previous relationships, so emigrating requires 3 visas - whichever direction they move. Lawrence is also on dialysis and awaiting a kidney transplant.
Despite the distance, they're a close family; they even use FaceTime to help discipline the children.
They currently see each other twice a year, and the flights make it harder to save the amount needed to apply for the visas.
We've set this page up to try and help get that last little bit of money so they can complete the paperwork and be a complete family - all in the same place.
