The Rinehart Family

Donation protected
Hello, my name is Mary DeCanio-Massey.  I attended Kentucky Christian University with two wonderful people, David and Lucinda Rinehart.
The Rineharts were amazingly musical people and they were so kind and would do anything for anyone.   David became a music minister and Lucinda became a teacher.
They went on to build a wonderful family of three beautiful young ladies (Josie, Sophie and Rylie) who were instilled with values, kindness and love as well as a musical talent and love of God.  David was my best friend through most of my college years.  We were "Carpenters Fanatics" and everyone would always hear David playing piano and me singing everywhere he played, but Sunday, the Carpenter's song I used to sing with David, "There's a Kind of Hush" all over the world tonight sadly took on a new meaning to me.
I am devastated because on Sunday, November 13th, in the wee hours of the morning, David, his mother Ruth Ann and his daughters Josie and Sophie hit a deer.  They called for roadside assistance and were waiting for them to arrive when they were hit from a wayward vehicle ending the lives of David, his mother and Sophie.
Josie is alive and thankfully on the road to recovery.  To say that I am devastated about this is an major understatement, but my misery is in no way even close to the unfathomable misery that Lucinda and her two surviving daughters, Josie and Rylie, and David's father are experiencing.
I am a teacher and I know what I can and can not afford as the salary is not stellar.  We don't teach because of the money it gives us, we teach to give to others. Lucinda is such an amazing teacher and gives of her all to her school and students.  Right now, she is suffering in so many ways where we as her friends can not help, but we can help in two main ways.  One is fervent prayer and the other is monetarily if it is within our means to do so.  If you would find it in your hearts to give what you can as a love offering to Lucinda's family, it would be so helpful to her.  Of course, no amount of money can ever replace David, Ruth Ann or Sophie, but there will be a whole lot less stress in the financial side of her life as bills pile up as mental and spiritual healing occurs.
Let's all rally around our sweet Lucinda and lift her up in a way that will aid her right now.

When I shared this with Lucinda, she felt so blessed that we would try to help her.

On Go Fund Me, it asked for an amount and I just came up with this random figure, but seriously, anything will help her right now.

If you are unable to help by a monetary gift, then please keep Lucinda and her family in your prayers and share this story.  Possibly someone you share with may have the means to help.

This money goes directly to Lucinda and her kids.

Thank you for your support.
