The Sanders Christmas

As many of you know, on December 6 one of the most amazing women in our community experienced a life altering event  on her birthday and so close to the Christmas Holiday. Wayne and Ebonne Nwani-Sanders are the proud parents of  six children including fosters. They are grateful  to be alive because while in the comfort of their home celebrating Ebonne's birthday an ordeal transpired in their front yard  that could have resulted in several injuries including death. But, by the grace of GOD, no one was physically injured. However, financially this unforeseen incident could not have come at a worst time. THE CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS... 

The incident happened overnight Wednesday on 18th Avenue North and was broadcast on several news outlets.  Three of the families vehicles are totaled. Police dispatch said a possible get-away vehicle struck the cars while driving through the area. 

It's unclear why the suspects were fleeing.

The Sanders family will have to pay a minimum of $500.00 per vehicle. Also, a minimum of $1000.00 deductible for home owners insurance as the home now has a hole in the wall.  Additionally, the unknown expenses for rental cars that carry six children because most insurances policies only cover compact cars.

More than ever, Let's raise money so these six children can have a somewhat normal Christmas.
