The Shape of a Mother TM Fund

The Shape of a Mother is in need of some trademark protection. As the website has grown in popularity and gained press through its revolutionary movement to accept and love our bodies, postpartum and otherwise, so has its vulnerabilities. People are always on the lookout to capitalize on someone else's success. 

In short, at least one person has already done so, using the SOAM brand name as their own, to try and profit off of the success of this website. Please contribute to help SOAM fight this battle but especially to get legal protection in the way of a trademark. The $1100 would cover all legal fees for both the trademark and the cease and desist.

I know for me personally I looked to this website for body positivity even before I became a mama. Because of Bonnie and SOAM, as well as all her brave contributors, I came out of my pregnancy proud instead of ashamed of my C-section scar and not afraid to show my stretch marks. Please consider helping her out, with contributions big or small.
