The unexpected loss of our mother
Donation protected
Hello, I am Marie Markfort. My little brother (LaValle) and I lost our Mother, Teresa Hesser, to unexpectant death at the age of 63 on Thursday June 6th 2019. As of right now causes of death looks to be of natural causes, the report shows she had an enlarged heart over 2x what an "normal" females heart should be. (450 mg vs 200mg) She seemed to have fallen after her heart gave out, I found her mid afternoon Thursday.
Our mother has always been there to help. Seems she was meant to help raise children, from her sibling to our siblings. From her Grandchildren to her Great-grandchildren to the best of her ability up until the day she died. She never missed a birth, she was always there providing childcare when ever one needed her.
Both LaValle & I are requesting help, we are not able to afford a proper service for our mother. She did not have Life insurance and lived on a fixed income. Our mother requested a simple service with little to no frills as she knew we would be in such situation one day. Well that one day is here and even with a no frill service we still cannot afford to make her home-going possible. Momma requested Cremation, and after leaving the funeral home today even the simplest service, the bill is slightly over $6000.
This does not include money lost from time missed at work, or days to come, we get 3 days of unpaid bereavement. We will also have to clean out her place and get a moving truck to move everything at a rapid pace. but most of all, I then will need to find a trusted child care provider for my granddaughter, mom referred to as her "Lil Bit". As we all know childcare is not cheap, I have enrolled LeYanna in a program that is willing to give me a break, yet that is still an additional $200 a month I can not afford alone.
Teresa aka GiGi/mom has been all LeYanna's known for a caregiver since she was born. The two meant the world to each other, they would bake, tell made up stories, play pretend, and craft together on a M-F basis. My dear grandchild is lost.
All I want is to sent our mother/Grandmother/Great-grandmother home the way she deserved to be sent home with;
LOVE FAMILY & FRIENDS any and all donations will help! Our goal is $3000, by Tuesday June 11, 2019 so we can have a proper service on Friday June 14th, 2019
MY Family and I Thank you for anything you can give even a share of this post will help!
Love and Gratitude.
