Send Rebecca Back to School!

Hi there!

For those of you who don't know me, I'm Rebecca Hiles. I'm a sex educator, blogger, and Dating/Relationships coach called The Frisky Fairy , and I need your help. 

Due to a number of financial circumstances, I left school before I was able to get my degree. When I was finally financially able to get back to school, I was diagnosed with cancer . On the upside, I'm cancer free for three years in November! On the downside, I spent a lot of time and money trying to get better, and was unable to dedicate my time and money to getting back to college.

Now for the hard part. When I left school I left behind just over $3000 ($3168 to be precise) in unpaid loans from the schools themselves. If I were to try to pay it back myself, I wouldn't get to school for a few years. I'd really like to get my degree so I can advance my career, so I'm asking your help. I would be using these funds specifically to pay back these loans so that the schools will release my transcripts and any amount helps. The final amount left after paying that off will be used to pay for my application fee, and help buffer what I would need to be able to pay the first installment for the first semester (Tuition is $5,376.00/semester ) so that I can save for the next semester.

As for my goals? I would like to become a counselor or therapist that works specifically with "alternative" lifestyle clients. That means a strong focus on the LGBTQ+, Polyamorous, and Kink communities. I would be seeking my Undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Women and Gender Studies  from George Mason, and then seeking either a Masters degree or higher from Widener's Human Sexuality program (which has interdisciplinary programs to achieve licensing).
