The Seventh Circuit
Donation protected
Drawing inspiration from 90's alternative rock and early 2000's post-hardcore, The Seventh Circuit is an Austin, Texas based band consisting of songwriters Brett Mayers (Vocals/Guitar), Drew Vena (Vocals/Guitar), Richie Wall (Vocals/Bass), CJ Roberts (Keys) and Jason Amato (Drums).
The 5 musicians met through a music-based drug addiction treatment center alongside Noah ‘Left Leg’ Lopez, a young rapper that brings a hip-hop element to the alternative rock collective.
Mayers and Vena recorded the bands first demo EP, 'For Good or For Ill', in the bedroom closet of their South Austin home in late 2017. More recently, The Seventh Circuit has been working on a follow-up EP titled 'Problems' slated for a May 2018 release.
The reason we're asking for donations is simply because we want to pursue what really makes us happy, music. Right now we don't have sufficient funds to fully pursue our dreams. We're looking to invest more in marketing and advertising, merchandise, equipment, and production services, all of which are not cheap.
We want to use our pasts to inspire hope through our music, we want to share our experience giving up mind altering substances to let those currently struggling with addiction know that it is possible to get clean. It is possible to be happy. It is possible to love yourself. We are in the middle of America's worst drug epidemic in the history of this country and all we want to do is support and encourage sobriety.
We want to change lives and we believe that our best opportunity to do so is through music. We believe in ourselves, and if you do too it would mean a lot if you'd be kind enough to donate. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
Much love,
