The Timber Project
Donation protected
The Timber Project is a non-profit organisation devoted to providing basic shelter and hygiene facilities for displaced people in Europe. We go from camp to camp assessing where we can be of most use and build structures that improve the lives of those refugees stranded in Greece and the Balkan route.
After months of hardship and uncertainty, a steady stream of vulnerable people continue to make the attempt to reach Europe along the Balkan route. Unprovided for and forgotten, their circumstances grow more desperate by the day. With no resolution in sight, trapped in a no-man’s land on the fringes of Europe, our aim is to provide them with the skills, tools and support they so urgently need today.
The situation is complex but what we do is simple: timber, tarpaulin and the most basic tools. Our designs are aimed at addressing some of the most urgent needs that people along the Balkan route are facing right now.
Please help us to continue our work by raising £10,000 which will make it possible for us to purchase materials, keep the car running and volunteer sponsorship.
