Keep The Transverse growing

Hi, my name is Emily. I am the Founder and President of The Transverse, a global organization focused on supporting and protecting the greater trans community, including transgender, intersex, non-binary, two-spirit, genderfluid and other gender-diverse individuals. We've been in operation for a year, growing at an exciting pace. We are in the process of registering to become a 501c3 non-profit. However, we have quickly come to a critical mass in our growth. We currently have several great, talented trans folks working with us on a volunteer basis, and with mounting bills for members of our staff and business costs, we've reached the point where it will be impossible for us to continue at the same pace without your support.

 

We are currently working hard on the first two phases of the organization. First is the media network, providing information, normalization, and entertainment featuring trans creators live every week. Second is the online community, currently on Discord, providing friends, family, and support for our TGNCNBI+ siblings. As of this posting, we have over 1,500 followers on our media channel and over 600 family members in the community. We also provide free access to Aegis, a service that protects LGBTGIA+ creators on Twitch and communities on Discord from trolls, hate groups, spammers, and other bad actors.

 

Your support will keep the existing pieces of The Transverse moving forward and growing and give us the time to complete the process of establishing ourselves as a non-profit. Once we achieve some financial stability, we will move forward on phase three, directly providing the resources folks need to live happy, healthy lives. Our resource hub is currently in development to connect trans folks to the local, national, and international resources they need. But we hope to expand that with boots-on-the-ground programs to support trans folks where they live, including employment, housing, financial support, and access to quality medical and transition care. Your help is crucial in ensuring we can keep moving forward to meet our vision and make a difference in the lives of trans people around the world.
