Hi, my name is Nikolaj Frey.

I'm a 27-year-old Full-Stack Developer from Melbourne, Australia.

I have always had a love for all things dynamic UI, and databasing.

Thingtime is something I've been working on and off on for the past 6 years. But I initially came up with the idea 10 years ago when I was first learning HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Since then, I have built 3 prototypes. Fine-tuning and exploring different ways in which to implement my vision while improving the technology stack, studying, and progressing my career.

On that day 10 years ago, I opened up my first Bootstrap templated website, and started playing around with the CSS, and JavaScript click event handlers. The first thing I did was think to myself, why can't I just click and edit this text, and then save my changes. Why did you have to make changes through another file. Well, little did I know about WYSIWYG editors, but we all know, they don't cut it.

Over the past 10 years, no-code has exploded onto the scene. There's just 1 problem with No-Code though, it is not as flexible as native HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. That's what Thingtime aims to solve.

Thingtime aims to create an experience similar to if you had all HTML elements on a page as content editable, and Dev Tools open, but when you made a change to a CSS property or value, or edited some content, upon refreshing, those changes would stick.
