Thomas Leahy Memorial Fund to Benefit TOPSoccer

Tommy Leahy made a difference for Tolland Soccer Club, TOPSoccer and many players during his time volunteering for TSC.  Tommy was a long time member of TSC, coaching Eagle Soccer School and as a Buddy for TOPSoccer.  He attended Tolland High School, played soccer and with his best friends won the 2015 Class M Championship.  On the 23rd of May 2019, Tommy tragically died and was taken from his family, friends and the Tolland community and will be missed dearly.  

Your donation to the Tommy Leahy Memorial Fund to Benefit TOPSoccer will directly support the program and its players.  TOPSoccer is Tolland Soccers award winning program offering children with disabilities the opportunity to play and learn soccer.  Middle school age and high school age volunteers are recruited as "buddies" to work with the players.  Each player is assigned 1 or 2 buddies and the buddies stay with the player on and off the field for the entire practice.  The buddies help the players follow the coaches' directions on an individual basis and help make soccer fun.  Tommy and many of his friends volunteered regularly as buddies and brought his love of the game of soccer to many more.
