Tim and Rose's Medical Expenses
Donation protected
Most people have heard Tim Sinnett's story on NBC Sport's Spartan Race. The details of his surgery were left out, but if you read his blog (http://www.racesherpasrises.com), he gives a detailed account of the issues he's facing and the long road to recovery.
Tim's unforeseen surgery is expensive and can take a toll on family reserves. Tim and Rose both work for themselves; Rose has tried to balance upcoming racing with care for Tim, and Tim has been forced to rethink his personal training career. It's a less-than-ideal situation, but one they've handled with grace.
For anyone who has ever met Rose and Tim at a race (or in life), you know how wonderful these people are. They devote a lot of time and effort to the OCR community, and will continue to do so as long as OCR exists. With this campaign, we hope to show the same support for them as they've shown for everyone else.
Amelia and I would like to rally the OCR community to help Rose and Tim allay the costs of this very disruptive and expensive surgery, and use these funds to get them back on their feet. We will donate the first $1000, and hope that others who are capable of helping will do the same.
