The TOM Podcast is a media centered around breaking down the taboo regarding menstruation, dedicated to promoting women loving women, and passionate about sharing women's experiences.
Throughout 2018, TOM founders Clarissa Castillo and Arden Leas have built up a dedicated audience, with a soon-to-be concluding Season 1, made up of 5 episodes.
Between the conclusion of Season 1, and the reboot that will be Season 2, The TOM Podcast has some goals.
The first, and biggest goal is marketing. While active on social media, the founders hope to implement more tangible promotion techniques including, but not limited to, stickers, posters, clothing & various other forms of merchandise to be sold and distributed at art shows, events & your favorite local coffee shops.
We also want to make this merchandise available for our listeners via an online merch store. But for now, you can receive our merch through donating (keep reading for more details on this)!
The second goal is to expand our recording equipment collection. Currently, recording takes place in our state of the art studio: the back of my car with the seats flipped down. While great for sound quality, recording in a car without AC in the Florida summer can get a little grueling for our guests. We hope to be able to put a better space into use for the upcoming season.
Our fundraising goal at the moment is a hefty one thousand dollars. All money raised will go directly to promoting and improving the podcast, or into savings for future events or endeavors relating to TOM. Absolutely anything you are willing to give would be incredibly beneficial, even if it is just a share on your socials.
