Nathan Strong Fund

If anyone has ever met Nathan, they would know that he was the friendliest, kindest, funniest, and greatest guy you could've had the privelage of meeting. He brought joy to many, and his greatest accomplishment in life was his happiness for not only himself, but for others. Describing Nathan is hard, because he was involved in everything he could and was always trying to give back to his community. He could not have done this of course without his loving and supporting family. Nathan was diagnosed over a year ago with Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma. This is a rare, inoperable, and incurable form of brain cancer.
He found out on his twentieth birthday while in the midst of his sophomore year at Quinnipiac University. Like most people have said, why do bad things happen to good people. But as the strong person Nathan was, he looked past the bad and fought with every bone in his body to see the positive out of everything.  In remaining optimistic throughout his long battle fighting cancer, Nathan wanted people to know his story. He created a word press so that people could see that no matter what life throws at you, you can still find a way to look past it. With every word he wrote, it was truly an inspiration to everyone. His strength, courage, and determination reflected back on many. Whether you met Nathan for a moment or knew him a lifetime, he was bound to make you laugh with an endless smile that never left his face. He inspired and influenced many whether it be from the classroom, the soccer field, or any other aspect of life. Nathan has shared many memories with an ample amount of people, and I hope everyone cherishes those memories. Speaking on my behalf, as well as the rest of the community, Nathan will be forever missed. Thoughts and prayers are being sent to his loved ones, family, and girlfriend. They have done everything in their power to help Nathan fight this crucial battle against cancer. I'm asking if we could give back to those who have made it possible for Nathan to have had as many memories as he did. This fund was put together to help the family. Not because they asked for it, but because they deserved it. No matter what Nathan needed, they did it in a heartbeat. #NathanStrong
