Her Last Wish - Hawaii

This page is for my best friend and sister, Tina McAndrew. My name is Teresa. Tina is 49 and fighting cervical cancer 5 years now. During this time, she has undergone 15 blood transfusions, 6 surgeries,  3 different types of radiation and 10 chemo treatments.Tina had to give up a job she loved with the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada (RTCSNV) and move to Iowa to be with family during the final stages of the disease. She has internal pelvic degeneration and months of hyperbaric treatment did not repair the damage. Tina's last surgery was a colostomy. The cancer is now in the lymph system. Due to over-radiation, my sister is unable to have any more and the doctors believe she is too weak to go through chemo again.  At this stage, Tina's doctors recommend she get her affairs in order and take this time to enjoy life while she has the energy.
Many of you know Tina as beautiful, happy, helpful, caring and fun.  She's spent her life devoted to the pursuit of physical fitness, and now, spiritual enlightenment.
She is a strong, positive, and determined lady approaching cancer with the same passion and drive for life she is known for.  It is amazing to see Tina smile and joke through all of the pain and discouragement she's suffered.  It would be so wonderful and we would be most grateful if you could help her achieve her last wishes; traveling to Hawaii to swim w/dolphins, a lecture/retreat with Dr. Steven Greer (on universal peace), and to meet the legendary rock band Van Halen and their lead singer David Lee Roth.
