On December 5th, 2018, Todd Paye, was in a tragic farming accident in Huron, SD where he and his family live. Todd lost his balance on the equipment he was running and his right leg went into the running head of a combine. Todd broke his tibia and fibula bones, ankle bones along with massive damage to tissue and skin. He will need skin grating to repair the damage.
Todd is currently being treated at the Stanford hospital in Sioux Falls. He’s had 4 surgeries so far as they try to save his leg below the knee. There will be more surgeries and a very long road of recovery ahead. Todd’s wife Connie will remain by his side in Sioux Falls while he continues treatment and thankfully their son, daughter in law and granddaughter, (Brent, Sheena and Kenna) live in Sioux Falls as well.
Not only will the medical bills be significant, but also the loss of income will be devastating. Todd and Connie own Exhaust Pros in Huron with Todd being the sole employee. Todd also farms and Connie is currently taking time away from her full-time job at First National Bank in Huron to be with Todd while he receives treatment in Sioux Falls.
Todd and Connie have 3 children. Brent, Brennan who recently completed college and Kelcie who is attending school at SDSU.
In an effort to assist with the expenses surrounding this terrible accident, friends and family of the Paye family have created this Go Fund Me page for those of you that would like to help. Please know that even $5 helps us reach our goal that might ease the financial burden of the accident.
You can also help by sharing the link.
Todd Paye and his family are very important to the community of Huron and surrounding areas and we want to make sure this page reaches as many people as it can.
